How do I install a Hitail tag onto my pet's collar?

Activate your tag before installing it on your pet's collar. A nonactivated tag will not function in the event that your pet is lost.

Quick Steps:

1. On your Hitail tag spread apart the metal ring and insert the ring on your pet's collar into the opening.
2. Rotate the metal tag ring until the ring on your pet's collar is fully inside the tag ring.

Detailed Steps:

1. Using your fingernail, spread apart the metal ring on the tag.
2. Take your pet's collar and insert the metal ring on the collar into the gap between the metal ring that you just spread apart on the tag.
3. Rotate the metal ring on the tag until the metal ring on the collar is fully inside the metal ring on the tab.
4. As you rotate the metal ring on the tag, make sure that you reinsert the end of the metal ring back inside the opening on the inside of the silicone tag. You don't want part of the metal ring to be on the outside of the tag.
5. Make sure the design side of the tag is facing outward and the QR side is on the back when installed.
