- Your pet's GPS location is immediately sent to you with SMS text and email.
- The finder can see your pet's name, behavior, health, veterinarian, and owner information (depending on the information you share and your privacy settings).
- The finder's name and phone number is shared with you.
- The sharing of pet, contact, and GPS information ensures a quick and safe return of your pet.

- In the unfortunate scenario where your pet becomes lost, a good Samaritan can find your pet and quickly scan the QR code on the back of their Hitail tag using the camera on their smartphone.
- Immediately upon scanning, you will receive an SMS text and email notifying you that your pet is lost and has been located.
- If the finder opts-in the GPS location (from the finder'ssmartphone) will also be immediately shared with you via SMS text and email. This will include the GPS coordinates and a map showing the exact location of your pet.
- Additionally when the finder scans the QR code, they will immediately see all your pet and owner information depending on the info you entered and the privacy settings you've chosen. This may include your pet's name, age, breed, and gender, as well as behavior, health, veterinarian, and owner contact information.
- The finder may also choose to enter their name and phone number which will immediately be shared with you as well.
